What is Juvéderm Vollure?

Juvéderm Vollure is an injectable filler that is part of the Juvéderm family of hyaluronic acid fillers. Juvéderm Vollure is injected into the facial tissue to smooth out moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds. This injectable was specifically formulated to treat parentheses lines that occur around the mouth and nose.

How Does Juvéderm Vollure Work?

The hyaluronic acid used in Juvéderm Vollure is a naturally occurring sugar in the skin. When in abundance, HA retains moisture and skin structure for a fresh face. Through the aging process, the production of HA diminishes, leading to wrinkles and folds. Juvéderm Vollure is injected using an ultra-fine needle into the areas containing wrinkles and folds. It temporarily adds volume for a smoother appearance. The injection process only takes about 15 minutes to complete. For a comfortable session, Juvéderm Vollure is formulated with lidocaine, a local anesthetic. If you wish for more anesthesia, you can talk with one of our Envee Aesthetics team members during your consultation.

Juvéderm Vollure has been shown to last in most patients for up to 18 months.
