What is Restylane?

Restylane is a clear gel dermal filler that is made with a form of the body’s natural hyaluronic acid, which provides fullness and elasticity in the skin. Restylane can be used to correct wrinkles around the nose, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. There are several products within the Restylane family that target specific areas of the skin and can provide optimal results. During a consultation, you can discuss your best options for rejuvenation with dermal filler treatments for your specific concern areas.

How Does Restylane Work?

Restylane is a minimally-invasive treatment consisting of a few injection points, which vary from person to person. Your Envee Aesthetics aesthetician will inject the product underneath the surface of the skin to produce volume that is naturally lost with aging. This procedure is commonly performed with a topical anesthetic for increased comfort during injection. Slight pain during the treatment is common, but the session usually lasts no longer than 30 minutes.

Restylane Results

Restylane can provide subtle, rejuvenating results and is an FDA-approved solution for signs of aging that don’t yet require surgery. Results can be visibly seen within one week. Side effects include possible swelling, redness, pain, and bruising, but these are usually mild and subside within a few days. Patients can typically report back to their day-to-day schedule immediately.
