What is the Halo™ Sciton® Laser?

The Halo™ laser by Sciton® is the first ever hybrid fractional laser to address a variety of skin concerns. As a hybrid fractional laser, it delivers both non-ablative and ablative wavelengths simultaneously. This means that it offers both the effectiveness of ablative laser treatments with the short downtime of non-ablative laser treatments. Halo treatments in the Troy, Rochester Hills, and Detroit, Michigan areas can help to improve the appearance of skin tone, texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, and wrinkles.

How are Halo Treatments Performed?

About an hour before your treatment session, a topical anesthetic will be applied so that you’re comfortable during the treatment. The Halo hand piece will be used to gently heat the skin while cooling technology will ensure that treatment is comfortable. Treatments commonly take about 45 minutes to complete. Following the procedure, a cold air fan and water mist will help to cool down the treatment area.

Halo Results

Following the procedure, you may experience a warm sensation on the treatment area for up to 1 hour. Halo treatments require little to no downtime, allowing you to resume your daily activities immediately. After 24 hours, makeup can be applied. Overall, initial results will start to become apparent after five days, though your skin will continue to improve with time, revealing smoother, younger-looking skin. Results will last for years to come, but our team recommends that your skin should be protected at all times to maintain results.
