What is the Halo Sciton Laser?

The Halo™ laser by Sciton® is the first-ever hybrid fractional laser to address a variety of skin concerns. As a hybrid fractional laser, it can deliver both non-ablative and ablative wavelengths simultaneously. This means that it offers both the effectiveness of ablative laser treatments with the short downtime of non-ablative laser treatments. How are Halo Treatments Performed?

About an hour before your treatment session, a topical anesthetic will be applied so that you’re comfortable during the treatment. The Halo handpiece will gently heat the skin while the device’s cooling system will ensure that treatment is comfortable. Treatments commonly take about 45 minutes to complete. Following the procedure, a cold air fan and water mist will help to soothe and cool down the treatment area.

Dry, coffee ground-like dots, known as MENDS, will appear over your treated area. The MENDS will take up to five-ten days to fall off. The end product will leave you with a beautiful, glowing complexion. Results will last for years to come, but our team recommends that your skin should be protected from sun exposure at all times to maintain results.
