Embrace makes use of the Stress – Shield™ technology to prevent the development of thick and raised scars. The root cause of poor scarring is treated by this technology that gently holds together both sides of the closed incision so that the tension in your skin is eased. The Embrace dressing will last for 7-10 days and we recommend that you continue your therapy for 6 applications to see best results.

This is a silicone gel which minimizes scar formation and offers sun protection for your new surgical scars. Once applied, the Silagen gel dries quickly, forming an invisible shield which protects your skin and, at the same time, flattens your scar and reduces redness. This gel is also waterproof and will last for about 12 to 24 hours. To get optimal results, you should apply the gel twice a day for at least 12 weeks.

Broadband Light BBL

BBL, or Broadband Light Laser therapy, helps with the treatment of a range of skin conditions. This includes reducing the appearance of your scars. During each procedure, the handheld BBL device will be passed over the skin. You may feel a warm sensation that feels like repeated rubber band snaps. You may require 2 to 5 treatment sessions that are spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart or additional treatments for more severe scarring.

Profractional Laser Therapy

This therapy works by removing your skin layer by layer. This results in the formation of new skin cells which gives you smoother and tighter skin. Before your procedure, a local anesthetic can be applied for your comfort. Depending on the area of treatment, the procedure might take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. You can expect your skin to begin peeling 5 to 7 days after your Profractional Laser Therapy and with full healing in about 10 to 21 days.
