What is ProFractional?

Envee Aesthetics offers ProFractional™, the latest advancement in fractional laser technology. It is used to treat acne scars as well as other skin conditions. ProFractional™ quickly and effectively treats wrinkles, acne scars, skin tone and texture, and pigmentation. Unlike full-field resurfacing, Profractional laser creates small micro channels into the skin, allowing for safer and more effective results as well as a quicker healing period. This laser is customizable, allowing the provider to customize treatment in accordance with the patient’s skincare concerns and downtime.

How is ProFractional Performed?

What makes ProFractional™ unique is that our team can tailor fractional resurfacing treatments to be ablative or nonablative. Both the depth of the treatment and the quantity of thermal heat is adjusted for the desired results. In general, the more heat and the more depth used, the better the end result will be. This treatment can be safely combined with Sciton lasers, such BBL and Halo for comprehensive, synergistic results. About 45 minutes prior to treatment, a topical anesthetic will be applied so that you’re comfortable during the treatment.

ProFractional Results

The more intensive the treatment and thermal heat generated, the longer the recovery period will be. Downtime ranges from 3-14 days. However, most patients notice drastic improvement in their unique skin concerns up to three months after their first treatment session.
