RHA Redensity

What is RHA Redensity?

RHA Redensity is a dermal filler that is injected in specific areas of facial tissue to reduce the appearance of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles around the mouth and lips. This includes marionette lines, lower lip lines, vertical lip lines, lipstick lines, and smoker lines. But it can also be used on the neck, under the eyes, and in the cheeks as well.

It is made up of sodium hyaluronic acid, 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE,) and 0.3% of the drug lidocaine hydrochloride to reduce pain when injected.

It was approved by the FDA specifically for the reduction of moderate to severe wrinkles in adults 22 years old and older.

How Does RHA Redensity Work?

RHA Redensity works by adding natural-looking volume back to the skin on the face and neck and providing a rejuvenated and more youthful appearance. RHA Redensity is formulated to use in the superficial levels of the skin as well as the deeper layers.

Because it contains hyaluronic acid that resembles your body’s natural hyaluronic acid, it doesn’t metabolize as quickly which allows for your results to last longer. This means you don’t have to return for follow-up injections as often.

RHA Redensity Results

After RHA Redensity is injected, you will see results almost immediately. You may also experience some redness, swelling, and bruising, but those side effects will fade within a few days.

You may need a follow-up appointment 2-4 weeks after your initial injections to get the amount of volume you’re looking for, but once you have your desired results, you may not need any maintenance treatment for 12-15 months.
